What each seat needs at minimum
lerninger runs in the browser — no installation, no on-site servers. Each seat just needs a device with internet. For writing, listening and speaking we recommend a little extra kit.
Device with a browser
Chromebook, laptop, desktop or a mini-PC with a screen — any up-to-date browser works.
Internet access
Stable Wi-Fi in the room. No installation, no local server upkeep.
Headphones
For read-aloud and speaking practice with the avatar.
Pen tablet
For a real writing feel — handwriting appears straight on screen.
Pen display
Write directly on the display — just like paper.
What does a classroom cost?
Get a non-binding estimate per seat — an inexpensive mini-computer with a screen is enough. Hardware once, lerninger yearly with volume discount.
Non-binding estimates incl. VAT — no assurance of suitability, availability or prices. A Raspberry Pi is usually sufficient because lerninger runs in the browser; whether a specific device fits your setup depends on the model, accessories and local network — please test with a few devices before any larger purchase. Internet: roughly one room per 30 seats (rough guide only). Prices vary by model and supplier. lerninger is not a hardware supplier, does not handle procurement, installation or warranty, and accepts no liability for purchasing decisions.
